Do you provide Hair & Makeup?
We do not include hair and makeup services as standard but can recommend skilled professionals for an additional fee. Alternatively, you may arrange your own. These services are highly recommended to enhance your portfolio session at Rubicon Photography.
How should I prepare for a photoshoot?
Getting enough restful sleep the night before, arriving early to the location, and maintaining a calm demeanor throughout the event are all absolutely essential for a successful experience. Consider hiring experienced professionals for your hair and makeup needs, as proper lighting can sometimes reveal imperfections that may not be noticeable in other settings. Additionally, ensure that your outfits are clean, pressed, and well-fitting so that they present you in the best possible light, and be sure to avoid garish patterns that can be distracting on camera. If you have any concerns, suggestions, or ideas, please feel free to discuss them with us at any time. Communication is key to achieving the best results possible.
Do you create portfolios for men as well as women?

How long does a portfolio session last?
Rubicon Photography sessions typically last 1-4 hours, depending on the chosen package. We prioritize capturing the best imagery for you and your portfolio, we are not strict on times so as to allow for ample time to create astonishing portfolio worthy images so we do not want you to feel rushed. Your posing and images deserve the utmost care and attention to give the highest impact
How many outfits should I bring?
When planning your portfolio photography session at Rubicon Photography, we recommend bringing at least six outfits for variety. However, ten outfits can provide even more options, allowing us to capture a broad range of looks. Feel free to discuss any specific concerns about outfit choices with us via a free consultation.
